The Year of the Snake

Happy Chinese New Year! In celebration of this holiday, I would like to share a traditional Korean recipe for ddukguk (rice cake soup). It is customary to make this soup today and it is believed to bring you luck and another year of life. My favorite korean food blog is by Maangchi. She gives you easy to follow directions and visuals.


My mother was in town this weekend. Here is a picture of us at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, it was beautifully decorated for the New Year.
